PROVO, Utah – BYU will host its Blue and White game on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Marriott Center. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Doors will at open for the annual event at 6 p.m., and admission is free.

Greg Wrubell and Mark Durrant will have the call on the BYU Radio app and BYURadio.org.

BYU returns eight letterwinners from last season’s squad that went 23-11 en route to helping the Cougars play in the NCAA Tournament for a 31st time in program history. Dallin Hall and Fousseyni Traore highlight the returners, as the duo earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention accolades.

The Cougars also return one of the best 3-point shooters in the country in Trevin Knell, as the North Salt Lake native is joined by fellow senior Trey Stewart and juniors Dawson Baker and Richie Saunders. The returners are joined by an experienced group of transfers in Max Triplett, Mawot Mag and Keba Keita.

According to 247Sports, first-year head coach Kevin Young assembled the 13th best recruiting class in the country, highlighted by a trio of ESPN 100 signees. Egor Demin joined BYU from Real Madrid in Spain, while also getting Elijah Crawford, Kanon Catchings and Brody Kozlowski to sign with the Cougars.

The Cougars next take the floor on Wednesday, Oct. 30, when they host Colorado Christian in an exhibition game. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m.
