IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference announced times and television designations for the 2024-25 BYU men’s basketball league schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
Thirteen of BYU’s league games will appear on linear television, with 12 of those scheduled to air on the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU), while the other is scheduled for CBS Sports Network.
BYU opens Big 12 play on New Year’s Eve on ESPN2 against Arizona State at 2 p.m. MT. The Cougars' first trip to Fort Worth since 2011 to face TCU on Saturday, Jan. 11 will be aired on ESPN or ESPN2 at 1 p.m. CT.
Their first game against Colorado as Big 12 foes has been designated for ESPNU on Tuesday, Jan. 21. BYU’s game against Cincinnati on Saturday, Jan. 25 will be on ESPN2, followed by a matchup against Baylor on Tuesday, Jan. 28, scheduled to appear on ESPN or ESPN2.
BYU’s game against Arizona on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 9 p.m. will be on ESPN or ESPN2 with the Cougars' return trip to Cincinnati on Saturday, Feb. 8 on ESPN2 6 p.m. ET. They return to CBS Sports Network for the first time in three seasons at West Virginia on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
The Cougars host Kansas for the first time at the Marriott Center on Tuesday, Feb. 18, a game that will air on ESPN or ESPN2.
The final three games will of the season will air on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. The Cougars host WVU on Saturday, March 1 at 8 p.m. MT, followed by their final road game of the season on Wednesday, March 5, against Iowa State at 8 p.m. CT. They conclude regular season play on Saturday, March 8, when they host rival Utah at 8:30 p.m. MT.
The Cougars open the 2024-25 season on Tuesday, Nov. 5, when they host Central Arkansas at the Marriott Center. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT on ESPN+.
