PROVO, Utah – Women’s golf head coach Carrie Roberts announced the signing of Aadyn Long and Nya Palmer on Wednesday.

Aadyn Long

Two time 6A individual state champion Long will join her older sister Berlin Long on the Cougar squad after she graduates from Lone Peak High School in May. Long also helped her team win three-straight team titles in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

“I am so excited to have Aadyn join this team,” Roberts said. “It’s the first time sisters will be on the team and we are excited to have her skills and talents help us get to where we want to go.

The Alpine native has been included on three-straight 6A Utah PGA Girls Golf All-State teams. In 2022 and 2023, she claimed the top medalist honor.

Long was the runner-up in the 2024 Utah Girls Junior State Amateur.

Nya Palmer

Hailing from Las Vegas, Palmer will graduate from Sierra Vista High School in May before coming to join the Cougars.

“I am excited to have Nya join our team in 2025,” Roberts said. “She brings a wealth of talent and experience that will help this team reach our goals.”

Palmer finished second at the 2024 World Stars Junior Golf Championship held in July. She carded a 9-over 222.

The Nevada native competed in the 2024 Nevada State Junior Amateur, where she shot a 1-over to help her take a top-3 finish.
