MEET FOES
BYU will face swimmers from Texas, Stanford, Wisconsin, USC and Pitt at the Texas Invitational.

The Longhorn men and women are ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in the latest CSCAA Top-25. Both teams have dual meet wins over ranked opponents in LSU and Indiana. No. 8 Stanford men’s swimming has losses to top-5 ranked Cal and Arizona State while its fourth-ranked women’s team beat both the Golden Bears and Sun Devils.

The Badgers bring the 14th-ranked men’s swimming team and No. 10 women’s team to Austin. Wisconsin’s men have split meets against Michigan and Minnesota while it’s women are 2-1 with wins over Notre Dame and Minnesota and a loss at Michigan.

USC’s men’s team ranks 20th and its women’s team ranks 16th, with both having beaten Hawaii and Arizona. The Pitt men have a win over Carnegie Mellon but losses to Penn State and Georgia Tech while it’s women’s team is 3-0 with wins in each of the same three dual meets.

LAST TIME OUT
BYU men’s swimming is coming off a 173-127 win over UNLV on Nov. 2 at the Richards Building Pool. Tanner Nelson and Max Kleinman combined for five event wins over the Rebels and won Big 12 Men’s Swimmer and Men’s Newcomer of the week, respectively.

Despite a 162-138 loss to UNLV, BYU women’s swimming’s Mackenzie Miller Lung won the league’s Women’s Swimmer of the Week award after sweeping the 100 and 200 breast races.

RANKINGS REVIEW
BYU men’s swim and dive remains two spots out of the CSCAA Top-25 with seven votes in the November poll.

The Cougars will face nearly 300 of the top 50 individual and relay times nationally in Austin while bringing 12 of their own ranked performers. Nelson, Kleinman, Miller Lung and Jasmine Anderson each hold top 50 individual times.

BYU diving brings athletes with 10 top-30 scores nationally to Dallas. Alexia Jackson Hansen and Chase Hindmarsh both rank in the top-5 on platform.
