SAN DIEGO, Calif. - BYU hits the road for the first time this season when the Cougars face No. 23 Ole Miss at the Rady Children's Invitational on Thursday, Nov. 28, at LionTree Arena in San Diego, Calif. Tip is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. PT.

WHERE TO WATCH
The game will be broadcast on FS1 with Cory Provus and Robbie Hummel on the call.

BOARD MAN GETS PAID
Fousseyni Traore continued his strong start to the season in BYU's win over Mississippi Valley State as the senior recorded the 20th double-double of his career, tying him with Dave Eastis (1958-61) for the 19th most in program history.

With his 15-point performance aginst the Delta Devils, Traore moved up to 47th on the all-time scoring list with 1,093 points. The native of Bamako, Mali also had 11 rebounds, five of those coming on the offensive glass, giving him multiple offensive boards in all five games this season.

WINNERS WIN
Some streaks will end on Thanksgiving afternoon, and we aren't talking about the consecutive seasons your uncle has won the MVP at the family Turkey Bowl. BYU has won 13 straight games in November, with its last loss coming at Battle 4 Atlantis in 2022. On the other side of the court, Ole Miss is a perfect 18-0 in non-conference play under second-year head coach Chris Beard.

UNDER PRESSURE
Entering the Rady Children's Invitational, BYU has not allowed an opponent to go on a double-digit scoring run this season. They are also outscoring opponents 96-20 in second chance points, holding opponents to less than six offensive boards per contest.

BYU limited Mississippi Valley State to 16 second-half points, including holding the Delta Devils scoreless for the final 8:34 of regulation.

IT JUST MEANS MORE
Thursday will mark the sixth time BYU has played a school from the SEC in the regular season since 2000-01, one of those being against Texas last season when the Longhorns were still a member of the Big 12. The Cougars' last win over an SEC opponent at a neutral site was against the Longhorns on Nov. 25, 2013 in Kansas City, where BYU's all-time leading scorer Tyler Haws had 25 points.

UP NEXT
The Cougars will face either No. 13 Purdue or NC State on Friday, Nov. 29, depending on Thursday's results.
