FORT WORTH, Texas — Three Cougars competed in the TCU Jae Foundation Fall Open last weekend and returned home with six victories.
Hiba Heni, Sue Yan Tan and Bitsy Tullis competed in singles, and Tan and Tullis represented BYU in doubles. The format of the singles matches were best of two sets to six, with a 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of a third, and the doubles matches consisted of one set to six.
Each athlete won at least one singles match, and Tan and Tullis won twice in doubles.
"It was super fun to see the girls compete at the highest level at such a well-organized and beautiful venue," said assistant coach Anastasia Hayden. "I love to see our ladies play to their potential in singles and doubles and apply the things we have been working on. It is fun to watch their growth and development as players. I'm getting super excited for our season!"
