RAINING COUGARS AND BULLDOGS
Wednesday will be the 20th all-time meeting between the two programs, with the Cougars holding a 14-5 advantage, including a 7-1 record in Provo. In their last meeting at the Marriott Center on Nov. 12, 2010, Jimmer Fredette scored a team-high 24 points, going 9-of-15 from the field, 1-of-4 from 3-point range and 5-of-5 from the free throw line.

Former Cougar and current graduate assistant Charles Abouo chipped in 13 points and six rebounds in a 83-56 victory for BYU.

LOOKING TO EXTEND THE STREAK
BYU enters Wednesday's matchup having won 18 consecutive non-conference home games dating back to December 2022. During the streak, they are outscoring opponents by an average of 30.7 points.

Overall, BYU has won 11 straight games at the Marriott Center, which is tied the 14th-longest streak in NCAA Division I men's basketball.

REBOUND MACHINE
Keba Keita had a career-high eight offensive rebounds in BYU's setback at Providence last week, one more than he had against Oregon State last season when playing for Utah. It was the most offensive rebounds by a Cougar since Eric Mika tied the program record with nine against Princeton on Nov. 14, 2016.

As of Monday, Keita is one of two NCAA Division I men's basketball players with eight or more offensive boards in a game this season, joining Stanford's Maxime Raynaud.

LOCKED IN
Fousseyni Traore enters Wednesday's matchup with 1,127 points, 11 shy of passing Travis Hansen and moving into the Top 40 the BYU all-time scoring list. Through eight games this season, Traore is averaging 12.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game while shooting 66.7 percent from the field.

The senior has also made 13 straight free throws as he is shooting a team-high 91.3 percent from the charity stripe.

LET 'EM BAKE
After only appearing in four games last season due to a foot injury, Dawson Baker has come off the bench in all eight games this season, averaging 8.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. The redshirt junior has done a majority of his damage in the second half as more than 69 percent of his points have come in the final 20 minutes, including 14 of his team-high 16 at Providence.

Trevin Knell is the polar opposite, with more than 70 percent of his points coming in the first half.

NO DILLY DALLYING AROUND
Dallin Hall is four assists away from becoming the 19th player in program history with 300 or more assists. The junior, who ranks second in program history in assist-to-turnover ratio, has 296 assists in 72 career games.
