"I think this should be a good meet for us," said assistant men's distance coach Ryan Waite. "The guys did a good job at the Stanford Invitational with focusing on winning their heats. That's again the focus for us with the Bryan Clay Invitational. When you go to a meet of this caliber, you just need to focus on being competitive and try to win the heat that you're in. The times will come."

"After last weekend’s partially canceled meet, my group is excited to have the opportunity to compete," said jumps/multis coach Tiffany Hogan. "We have the opportunity to showcase how well our training is going so I am expecting some big marks out of the jumpers and combined event group."
