PROVO, Utah - BYU heads back to The Lone Star State this weekend for a showdown against TCU. Tip is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena in Forth Worth, Texas.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
BYU is 20-3 all-time against TCU, including a current 17-game win streak over the Horned Frogs. In their only meeting last season, BYU outscored the Horned Frogs 58-29 in the second half to overcome a 17-point halftime deficit. 

MAKING A NAME FOR HIMSELF
Following his 14-point performance against Texas Tech on Tuesday, Fousseyni Traore is now three points away from passing Randy Reid (1992-96) and moving up to 36th on the all-time scoring list. The program's all-time leader in field goal percentage has scored 1,168 points in 106 games played at BYU. 

The senior is one of seven active players in NCAA Division I men's basketball to be shooting over 60.0 percent from the field (Min. 400 FGM). 

RUSSIAN STARLET
Egor Demin is one of four freshmen in the nation to average 5.0 assists or more per game this season as the 6-foot-9 guard is dishing out a Big 12-high 6.0 helpers per game. At his current pace, Demin is on pace to become the first freshman in the nation to average 6.0 or more assists in a single season since 2021-22 (UC San Diego's Taran Armstrong). 

STRONG SECOND UNIT
BYU ranks third in the Big 12 and 28th nationally in bench points per game (31.07). The Cougars' bench finished with 34 points on Tuesday against Texas Tech, their fourth-highest output of the season. 

FOREVER YOUNG
Trevin Knell enters the showdown against TCU six 3-pointers shy of becoming the seventh player in proram history with 200 or more career 3-pointers. Saturday's game will be his 129th appearance for BYU, tying for the 15th most in program history. A win over TCU would be his 92nd, moving him into solo 12th on that list. 

FLIP THE SCRIPT
The Cougars are 0-2 on the road this season, having been outscored by an average of 25.0 points per game. In those two setbacks, BYU is shooting 35.0 percent from the field, 30.6 percent from three and 68.8 percent from the free throw line.

Opposing teams are shooting 50.0 percent from beyond the arc against the Cougars, including an 11-of-18 performanace from Houston in the second half last Saturday. 

REBOUND THE BASKETBALL
Even after getting outrebounded in the losses to Houston and Texas Tech, BYU still ranks first in the Big 12 and ninth in the nation in rebound margin (+10.2). The Cougars also rank Top-60 nationally in defensive and offensive rebounds per game.
