PROVO, Utah – Future BYU Cougar AJ Dybantsa has been named to the USA roster for the upcoming 2025 Nike Hoop Summit, USA Basketball announced on Wednesday afternoon.

The Nike Hoop Summit showcases the top American high school seniors facing off against a World team of top international players 19-and-younger. The game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Dybantsa will make his second appearance in the event, after representing Team World last year. He was the youngest player to compete in the 2024 Nike Hoop Summit, finishing with a game-high 21 points against projected lottery picks Dylan Harper, Cooper Flagg and Ace Bailey.

The 6-foot-9 forward is the highest-rated recruit and first-ever five-star high school recruit to sign with the Cougars. No stranger to the international stage, he represented Team USA last summer at the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup, helping the Americans win their seventh straight title. He averaged 14.1 points, 4.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game, including scoring in double figures in all three knockout-round games.

Dybantsa is joined on the USA roster by Darius Acuff Jr., Nate Ament, Cameron Boozer, Cayden Boozer, Mikel Brown Jr., Chris Cenac Jr., Jalen Haralson, Jasper Johnson, Nikolas Khamenia, Malachi Moreno and Koa Peat.
