PROVO, Utah – The Cougars are set to begin the 2025 spring season at the Arizona N.I.T., hosted by the University of Arizona, at the OMNI Tucson National Resort from Feb. 3-4.

“I think all the guys are hungry and excited to start up the season,” said Director of Golf Todd Miller. “It looks like we are going to have some better temperatures which will be a nice change for us with the recent cold in Utah.”

Seniors Zac Jones and Cole Ponich, junior Simon Kwon, sophomore Peter Kim and freshman Kevin Wu are on next week's lineup.

BYU will be entering a 14-team field, which includes host Arizona, Saint Mary’s, New Mexico, Oral Roberts, Missouri-Columbia, Fresno State, Wyoming, USC, UCSB, New Mexico State, LMU, Santa Clara and fellow Big 12 conference member Iowa State.

“I would like to see our guys continue to show that we can come out of the winter break and compete with the top programs in the country,” Miller said. “From what I have seen in our practices, I feel confident that we will have a good showing.”

The 54-hole tournament will begin Monday morning and conclude Tuesday afternoon. Follow live scoring on Scoreboard.
