MORGANTOWN, West Virginia - BYU concludes its two-game road trip on Tuesday, Feb. 11, when the Cougars face West Virginia in Morgantown for a second-consecutive season. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

COUNTRY ROADS...
The Cougars and Mountaineers will face-off for a fourth time on Tuesday, with BYU leading the all-time series 2-1.

In their first trip to West Virginia since 1947, the Cougars defeated the Mountaineers 86-73 on Feb. 2, 2024, behind 24 points and nine rebounds from Fousseyni Traore. With fans jeering him every time he touched the ball, Dallin Hall finished with a career-high 12 assists. 

RICHIE ON A ROLL
In 22 games this season, Richie Saunders has already eclipsed his scoring total from last season when he scored 328 points in 34 appearances. The junior has scored in double figures in nine straight games and is averaging a team-high 15.1 points per game game, shooting 50.6 percent from the field, 44.0 percent from 3-point range and 76.7 percent from the free throw line.

In Big 12 play, Saunders ranks fifth in scoring at 17.5 points per game, while shooting a league-best 46.5 percent from behind the arc (min. 2.5 3FG/game). He also ranks third in field goal percentage at 51.8 percent. 

TREVIN TIME
Trevin Knell is eight points away from becoming the 54th player in program history to score 1,000 points, as the senior has scored 992 points in 137 career games. 

Knell went 1-of-3 from 3-point range in Saturday's setback to Cincinnati, giving him 213 triples for his career, tied for the sixth-most in program history with Mark Bigelow (1998-99, 01-04). 

DON'T TRY THAT ON DALLIN
Dallin Hall is on pace to become the second player in program history to have multiple seasons with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.25:1 or better. The junior has 74 assists and 31 turnovers this season after dishing out 172 assists with only 59 giveaways in 2023-24 when he earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention accolades. 

KNOCK 'EM DOWN
BYU has hit 10 or more 3-pointers in 15 games this season after going 10-of-29 at Cincy. The Cougars rank first in the Big 12 and eighth in NCAA Division I men's basketball in 3-point field goals per game (10.6), with their 244 makes from behind the arc the 10th most in a single season in program history. 

ON THE ROAD AGAIN
BYU is 5-10 in Big 12 road games since joining the league last season, including its first two-game road win streak earlier this season with victories at Colorado and UCF. Four of those 10 losses have come against ranked opponents. 

FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE
With two assists against Cincinnati, Egor Demin now has 111 assists this season, which are the fifth-most by a freshman in a single season in program history.

The 6-foot-9 guard's 5.6 assists per game this season are the most by a freshman in program history and sixth-most by any player in program history. 

HANGING BY A THREAD
BYU is 14-5 this season when leading at halftime, with all five of those losses coming when the Cougars lead after 20 minutes was five points or less.
