INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA selections were announced Monday for the 2025 National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships regionals, and No. 32 BYU will compete in the Utah Regional at the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Utah Regional will host nine teams for the NCAA competition and run from Wednesday, Apr. 2-Sunday, Apr. 6. The Cougars will compete in their first meet on Wednesday, Apr. 2 against Utah State at 2 p.m. MT.
The other seven schools competing in Utah will be starting their tournament run on Thursday, Apr. 3 at 1 p.m. ET. These teams include No. 4 Utah, No. 5 UCLA, No. 12 Minnesota, No. 13 Stanford, SUU, Boise State and Denver. All three competitions will be broadcast on ESPN+.
If the Cougars win their dual meet against Utah State on Wednesday, they will advance to day two and take on Utah, Stanford and Denver at 7 p.m. MT.

Individual all-around competitors competing in the Utah Regional are Iowa State’s Josie Bergstrom-Te Slaa, Eastern Michigan’s Raisa Boris and Air Force’s Maggie Slife. Individual event specialists are BYU’s Kylie Eaquinto (vault, bars), Anna Bramblett-Wilde (bars), Brynlee Andersen (beam) and Deb Silva (vault); Utah State’s Nyla Morabito (vault, floor), Avery Bibbey (bars), Brianna Brooks (bars, beam) and Sydney Jalen (beam); Iowa State’s Noelle Adams (floor), Haylee Hardin (floor) and Frederoque Sgarbossa (bars); San Jose State's Madison Gustitus (beam); and Eastern Michigan’s Abby Brushwood (floor).
The top 36 teams based on national qualifying score (NQS) were selected for regional competition. The NCAA selection committee identified the top 16 teams and seeded them in their specific brackets. Teams 17-36 were placed geographically at one of the four regional sites. All host teams stay home to compete, whether they are a top-16 seed or not. The top 12 all-around competitors and top 16 event specialists were selected based on national qualifying scores and will be placed geographically, keeping individuals from the same team together.
The National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships will consist of eight teams, four all-around competitors and 16 event specialists. The top two teams and the top all-around competitor (who is not on an advancing team) from each regional will receive an automatic berth to the national championships. In addition, the top event specialist in each event (not on an advancing team or an all-around competitor) advances to the national championship (in that event only).

The national championships will take place April 17 and 19 in Fort Worth, Texas, at Dickies Arena. The championship event is hosted by Texas Woman's University and Knight Eady.
