GREENWOOD, Ind. — Eight BYU swim and dive athletes were recognized by College Sports Communicators (CSC) with Academic All-District honors, the organization announced Tuesday.

Victoria Schreiber, Emerson Edwards, Chase Hindmarsh and Tanner Nelson makeup the four BYU Academic All-District honorees who have advanced to the Academic All-America ballot. Academic All-America recipients will be announced by CSC April 22-23.

Schreiber boasts a 4.00 GPA as a microbiology major at BYU while finishing All-Big 12 Second Team in the 500 free and setting four personal best times over the course of the 2024-25 season. The junior from Brighton, Michigan anchored the Cougars’ 800 free relay squad to a school-record 7:13.87 at Big 12 Championships Feb. 25-March 1 in Federal Way, Washington. Schreiber also finished the season ranked in the top five all-time at BYU in the 200, 500 and 1650 free.

Edwards achieved a 3.79 GPA while majoring in human resource management in the Marriott School of Business and racing to an All-Big 12 Second Team finish in the 200 breast. The Columbia, South Carolina native and team captain concluded his BYU career ranked in the program’s top 10 in each of the 50, 100 and 200 breast events.

In just his first season following two years of full-time missionary service for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Puebla, Mexico, Nelson earned a 3.75 GPA in exercise science while leading the BYU men with three All-Big 12 finishes. Nelson took home all-conference first team honors in the 400 individual medley alongside second team in the 500 free and 200 breast. The sophomore from South Jordan, Utah also clocked a program-record 1:35.59 in the 200 free at Big 12’s.

Hindmarsh holds a 3.51 GPA in information systems and led BYU men’s diving with All-Big 12 finishes on 3-meter and platform. The senior from Tomball, Texas set two personal best scores down the stretch of the season with a 366.15 on 3-meter at Big 12’s and 346.65 on 1-meter at the Utah Dive Invite. Hindmarsh finished the season qualifying for NCAA Zone E Championships in each of three diving events.

Jordan Tiffany, Brooklyn Larson Clouse, Halli Williams and Katya Hulse were also recognized by CSC with Academic All-District honors.

Despite missing much of the season with injury, Tiffany returned to lead the BYU men to a 168-132 dual meet win over rival Utah on Feb. 8 – the program’s first in Salt Lake City since 2011. Tiffany capped the season with his fourth All-Big 12 finish in two seasons after taking a second team spot in the 100 fly.

Hulse and Larson Clouse combined to set five personal bests during the season while Williams helped the Cougars set school records in four different relays at Big 12’s.
