IRVING, Texas — Thirty-eight BYU swim and dive student athletes garnered a spot on the Winter 2025 Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, the conference announced on Tuesday.
BYU men’s swim and dive received 16 placements on the honor roll while 22 women’s swimmers and divers were recognized. The Cougars’ 38 combined honorees rank second behind only Arizona State’s 43 and represent 20 different academic majors with 25 individuals now recognized in back-to-back seasons.
Each of BYU’s nine 2025 sophomore or upperclassmen all-conference performers earned a spot on the honor roll. Freshmen are not eligible for a Big 12 academic citation.
Tuesday’s announcement follows the April 1 honoring of eight BYU swim and dive athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Emerson Edwards, Chase Hindmarsh, Tanner Nelson, Jordan Tiffany, Katya Hulse, Brooklyn Larson Clouse, Victoria Schreiber and Halli Williams each earned Big 12 honor roll status as well.
