KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rebekah Erikson, Maren Garnett, Jenna Hutchins, Meghan Hunter and Alysa Keller all earned Academic All-District honors, College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday.

To qualify, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have a GPA of at least 3.50 and rank top 50 at the 2024 NCAA regionals or in a Track and Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS) regional event. Relay marks may support but not determine eligibility.

Erikson holds a 3.97 in Computer Science. The senior tied with teammate Garnett to hold BYU’s No. 1 all-time mark in the outdoor pole vault with a clearance of 4.32m/14-2 at the Robison Invitational. Additionally, the Spokane, Washington native placed third at the outdoor Big 12 Championships after she surpassed 4.31m/14-1.75.

Hailing from Spearman, Texas, Garnett is majoring in Dietetics with a 3.92. Garnett set the No. 1 all-time mark in the indoor pole vault with a jump of 4.46m/14-7.50 at the indoor Big 12 Championships, where she placed fifth.

Majoring in Communication Disorders, Hutchins boasts a 3.96. The junior took third place in both the 3000m and 5000m at this year’s indoor Big 12 Championships. Hutchins was named Second Team All-American at the outdoor NCAA Championships after crossing in 15:31.42 in the 5000m.

Hunter holds a 3.89 in Communication Disorders. The senior from Provo, Utah was named First Team All-American at the NCAA Championships in the 800m after placing third. This marks the third time that Hunter has earned this honor. Additionally, Hunter was the outdoor Big 12 Championships champion in the 800m after crossing in 1:58.99.

Keller is an undecided major, holding a 3.89. The sophomore placed fifth in the javelin at the outdoor Big 12 Championships with a throw of 48.36m/158-8.
