IRVING, Texas – Peter Kim earned All-Big 12 honors, the conference announced Thursday morning.
Kim recorded five top-five finishes this season, including four in the top three. His best performance came at The Goodwin, where he tied for first with a 5-under 205, highlighted by two rounds of 3-under 67.
More recently, Kim tied for fifth at the NCAA Reno Regional, helping lead BYU to a team victory. He led the Cougars in five of 12 stroke-play events this season.
The Salt Lake City native posted a 70.0 scoring average over 43 rounds. He is ranked No. 51 nationally by Scoreboard/Clippd. Kim’s season-low round was a 5-under 66, which he carded in both the first round of the Arizona NIT and the second round of the 78th Western Intercollegiate.
Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and All-Big 12 honors were determined using Scoreboard/Clippd rankings. Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year were selected by a coaches’ vote.
