PROVO, Utah — BYU women’s volleyball has added transfer middle blocker Elena Wallace to its 2025 roster, head coach Heather Olmstead announced today.
Wallace, a Cedar Hills, Utah native, joins the Cougars as a graduate transfer after two seasons at Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) and another pair at Tennessee Tech.
The middle blocker averaged 1.34 kills per set for the Golden Eagles last season, hitting .252 on 90 kills while also recording 51 total blocks.
During her two seasons in Cookeville, Wallace tallied 112 kills, 61 total blocks, including 11 solo, and seven digs.
Wallace hit .275 while at SLCC, recording 205 kills for the Bruins to go along with 74 total blocks, including 21 solo, 33 digs, nine aces and four assists.
She’ll join fellow transfer Emma Barbero as well as Anna Blamires, Suli Davis, Grace Fredrick and Kaylee Tingey as the sixth member of BYU’s 2025 signing class.
