ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands — BYU women’s basketball is set to compete in the 2025 Paradise Jam, Nov. 27-29 in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the tournament announced on Wednesday afternoon.

“We are excited to play in this prestigious tournament against great competition,” said head coach Lee Cummard. “We will be halfway through our non-conference schedule and matchups with Virginia Tech and Vanderbilt or Oregon State will be great check-in points to see how we are progressing as a team and where we need to improve before Big 12 play.”

This will be the Cougars’ first-ever trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands, where they will face the Virginia Tech Hokies on Nov. 27 at 3:30 p.m. MT on ESPN+. BYU will then face either Oregon State or Vanderbilt in the championship or third-place game on Saturday, Nov. 29.

The Cougars head to paradise along with Virginia Tech, Oregon State and Vanderbilt as part of the Island Division. Other teams competing at the event are Elon, Tulane, North Dakota and Boise State in the Harbor Division and Miami (OH), Washington State, Marist and LSU as part of the Reef Division. All games of the tournament will be streamed on ESPN+.
