EDMONTON, Canada — Delaney Gibb's run with Team Toronto at the FIBA 3X3 Women's Series: Edmonton Stop ends in the quarterfinals with a loss to Spokane 3XBA USA.
Gibb and Team Toronto bested Chile in the opening game of the tournament on Saturday, 16-13. The 2025 Big 12 Freshman of the Year contributed two points on 2-of-6 shooting in the first game of her 3X3 career. She also helped Toronto with three rebounds, an offensive board, two key assists and a block in the win.
In Saturday's second game, the Toronto women fell to France 20-13. Gibb led Toronto with six points, going 4-for-9 from 1-point land and knocking down an offering from two. The BYU sophomore also led Toronto in player value at 8.1 by recording two key assists, two rebounds, an offensive board and a block.
After advancing to the quarterfinals, Gibb and Toronto took on Spokane 3XBA USA. Gibb recorded three points, two rebounds and a key assist in the 21-18 loss, ending Team Toronto's run at the Edmonton Stop.
