PROVO, Utah – The No. 1 Cougars are set to compete in the Missouri Pre-Nationals at Gans Creek Cross Country Course Friday morning at 9 a.m. MST.
BYU is coming off of back-to-back wins at both the Autumn Classic and the Cowboy Jamboree. At the Cowboy Jamboree, the team claimed 34 points to second-place host Oklahoma State’s 57.
Senior Riley Chamberlain placed second individually at the Cowboy Jamboree, after she crossed in 20:04.40, over 10 seconds ahead of third place. Taylor Rohatinsky picked up fourth place at the event, clocking 20:23.80.
Of the team lineup, BYU will race against host No. 21 Missouri, Arkansas, No. 23 Boston College, Bryant University, Cal Poly, Clemson, Colorado State, No. 3 Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Idaho State, Illinois, Indiana State, Iowa, Kansas, K-State, Kentucky, Liberty, Loyola, Miami (Ohio), Mississippi State, Montana State, Nebraska, Northern Colorado, No. 8 Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Purdue, Quinnipiac, Saint Louis, San Francisco, South Dakota St., Tennessee, Utah State, No. 19 Villanova, Wichita State, Wyoming and Youngstown State.
