PROVO, Utah – No. 6 BYU men’s Cross Country travel to Madison, Wisconsin to compete at the 2025 Nuttycombe Invitational Friday morning.

The Cougars close out their regular season with a fourth-straight appearance at Wisconsin’s Nuttycombe Invitational, a meet they’ve dominated in recent years with top-two finishes each of the past three seasons.

The Zimmerman Championship course was used for last year’s NCAA National Championship where both BYU men’s and women’s teams were crowned national champions.

All-American Davin Thompson is set to lead the Cougars after taking 20th overall at the Gans Creek Classic on September 26 where he finished the 8,000-meter race in 23:02.9

Big 12 Runner of the week Hunter Kitchen will make an appearance after finishing first overall at the Utah State Steve Reeder Memorial Invite last Friday. He finished the 7,000-meter race in a time of 21:10.1.

After the Nuttycombe Invitational, BYU takes a week off before traveling to Lawrence, Kansas to compete at the 2025 Big 12 Championship on Friday October 31 at 10:00 a.m. CT
