IRVING, Texas – BYU women’s basketball’s Lee Cummard, Delaney Gibb, Hattie Ogden and Brinley Cannon will represent the Cougars at the 2025 Big 12 Basketball Media Days presented by New Era in Kansas City, Mo. at the T-Mobile Center, Oct. 21.

Big 12 Basketball Media Days is a two-day event at which members of the national, regional and local media will get a first look into each of the conference’s 16 men’s and women’s basketball programs. The Cougars will participate in content collection and media interviews throughout the day, beginning at 10 a.m. MT.

Coverage on the main set will air on ESPNU and ESPN+ from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. MT. Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark will speak at 11:10 p.m. MT, preceded and followed by Q&A sessions with conference coaches.

Coach Cummard and the reigning Big 12 Freshman of the Year, Delaney Gibb, will speak with Las Vegas Ace’s television analyst Anne O’Neil and ESPN’s Rachel Galligan about the upcoming season, with the interview broadcast at 10 a.m. MT on ESPNU.

Following the ESPN interviews, Coach Cummard will be available for one-on-one interviews from 11:40-12 p.m. MT in the breakout area. The BYU players will follow with one-on-one interview opportunities from 12-12:20 p.m. MT.

After participating in Big 12, ESPN, FOX, Turner Sports and other content collection stations, the Cougars will conclude the day with Coach Cummard, Gibb, Ogden and Cannon fielding questions from the media in a round-table discussion format on the media day main stage from 2:20-2:30 p.m. MT, with Missy Heidrick moderating.

Following the conclusion of media day, Cummard and his squad will turn their attention to the final tune-up for the 2025-26 season, an exhibition contest against the Western Colorado Mountaineers that will tip at 7 p.m. MT on Oct. 28 at Marriott Center. The Cougars will then welcome the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers to Provo for the regular season opener on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. MT.
