BYU dropped four spots from No. 17 to No. 21 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll after once again splitting its Big 12 slate. The Cougars dropped a four-set match to UCF before sweeping Kansas State last week.

Splitting five conference weekends, including three in a row, BYU also picked up a single-game week win over Houston back on Oct. 11.

The Cougars were led by Suli Davis, who finished with 31 kills on the week and was a dig or two digs shy of a double-double against both the Knights and the Wildcats. She was followed by Sophia Callahan (18 kills, hitting .351) and Claire Little Chambers (16 kills).

Alex Bower posted 61 assists, averaging 8.71 per set, and surpassed the 2,000 career assist mark with her final assist against UCF. Lulu Uluave (19), Davis (17) and Little Chambers (14) each recorded double-digit digs.

Brielle Kemavor tallied 15 total blocks, including two solo stuffs. She reached 50 career solos in the first set against K-State. Callahan was the next closest, with eight blocks, while Little Chambers added five.

Now past the halfway point of Big 12 play, BYU still leads the league in hitting percentage (.270). The Cougars are second in aces per set (1.73), assists per set (13.02), kills per set (13.96), total assists (1,107), total kills (1,187) and total aces (147).

Individually, BYU is represented by Bower and Davis in the top 25. The setter ranks No. 11 and 17, respectively, in assists per set (10.59) and total assists (900), while Davis is No. 23 in total kills (370).

In Big 12 play alone, Bower is second with a 9.95 assist per set average, with Kemavor's 1.43 blocks per set also good for No. 2. Kemavor is third with a .364 hitting percentage, and Davis is fourth, averaging 4.8 kills per set.

Back on the road, the Cougars prepare for the first of two matches with Arizona and a second meeting this season with Arizona State.
