IRVING, Texas — BYU women's volleyball freshman outside hitter Suli Davis picked up her fourth Big 12 Rookie of the Week honor of the season, the league announced on Tuesday.

Davis led the Cougars with 31 kills between their two matches, finishing a dig and two digs shy from a double-double against both UCF and Kansas State.

The freshman recorded double-digit kills for the 22nd time in 23 matches, and has also done so in 20-consecutive matches. She tallied four assists and four service aces to go along with 17 digs and two total blocks.

The award is BYU's fourth weekly honor of the season. Davis was also named Rookie of the Week on Sept. 9, Oct. 7 and Oct. 21. Baylor is the only other program in the conference with a repeat rookie honoree. The Bears have also been honored four times this year, with three different players earning an award.

The Cougars have now received eight Rookie of the Week awards since joining the Big 12. Middle blocker Mia Lee (2023) and setter Alex Bower (2024) were both honored twice in their freshmen seasons.
