PROVO, Utah – Four-star recruit Dean Rueckert has signed with BYU men’s basketball, head coach Kevin Young announced on Wednesday afternoon.

“We’re so excited to welcome Dean and his family to BYU," Young said. "We’ve been able to build a great relationship with them and can’t wait to see Dean in BYU blue. He grew up here and we are excited that his story can continue with Cougar Nation. He’s a long, versatile wing who can really shoot the ball, put it on the floor and guard multiple positions. His size, skill and feel for the game fit perfectly with the way we want to play.”

Rueckert enters his senior season at Timpview High School rated as a four-star recruit and the 6th recruit in the 2026 class according to SC Next 100. He is also ranked as a four-star recruit by 247 Sports and On3.
