We exceeded that goal by taking second to secure the automatic berth.” Head coach Ed Eyestone said, “This sport is all about momentum and between the Big 12 championship two weeks ago and today we really have that momentum on our side.”
With a second place team finish BYU automatically qualifies to compete at the NCAA National Championship on November 22nd.
