The Cougars, hitting .416 as a team, then swept No. 13 Kansas on Friday night, led by Davis' second double-double on the week and Little Chambers' 13 kill, hitting .522.
Davis broke BYU's rally-scoring era freshman kills record in the match against the Wildcats, and is now eight kills away from breaking the program's all-time freshman kills record as well. Dylann Duncan is the current record holder. She had 488 kills in 1985.
As a team, the Cougars hit .385 on the week, fueled by Davis' 43 kills (hitting .410) and Little Chambers 35 on a .476 clip. Sophia Callahan (11 kills) and Brielle Kemavor (10 kills) joined the duo in double figures.
Alex Bower tallied 87 assists on the week, averaging 12.43 per set. Davis (24 digs), Lulu Uluave (18 digs), Little Chambers (13 digs), Elli Mortensen (12 digs) and Bower (10) each posted double-digit digs.
Elena Wallace finished with a team-high six digs, followed by Bower's four. Uluave led the team with six aces, while Mortensen contributed three.
BYU continues to rank nationally in kills (14.07) and assists per set (13.10), with No. 16 marks in both statistical categories. The Cougars lead the Big 12 in aces (184) and are second in aces per set (1.75), assists per set), hitting percentage (.269), kills per set and total assists (1,376).
Bower and Davis pace BYU on the individual side, with the setter leading the league in both assists per set (10.71) and total assists (1,125), where she ranks No. 10 and No. 17 in the country, respectively.
Davis is 15th nationally in kills per set (4.58) and 16th in total kills (481), and is the leading freshman in both categories. She is second in the conference in total kills and points. Kemavor also has a Big 12-high .370 hitting percentage.
