Benson and Ramanis earn 2025 All-MPSF honors

The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced its 2025 All-MPSF awards, with senior outside hitter Luke Benson named to the All-MPSF First Team and senior outside hitter Miks Ramanis named to the Second Team.

PROVO, Utah — The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced its 2025 All-MPSF awards Tuesday afternoon, with senior outside hitter Luke Benson named to the All-MPSF First Team and senior outside hitter Miks Ramanis named to the Second Team.

Benson led the Cougars in kills in conference play, with 149. His 3.24 average in kills per set was the fourth-highest in the conference out of all outside hitters. Benson also tallied 20 blocks, 39 digs and 11 aces through BYU's 12 conference matches. Benson was one of eight players from the conference to sit on the All-MPSF First Team. This is also Benson's second career All-MPSF selection.

Ramanis collected 115 kills through 36 total sets played, averaging 3.19 kills per set in MPSF play. He also totaled eight aces, 14 blocks and 37 digs. This is Ramanis' fourth recognition from the MPSF as he was named to the 2022 All-MPSF Freshman Team, 2023 All-MPSF First Team and 2024 All-MPSF Second Team.
