PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s soccer senior Mackenzee Vance has signed a professional contract with Pachuca Femenil.

Pachuca Femenil is one of the most competitive teams in Liga MX Femenil, having reached the league final on four occasions, and winning one of them, being one of the five clubs that have clinched the league title since its creation in 2016. Pachuca won its first league title last season, beating América 3-2 in the finals.

Pachuca is also the only women's football team to have won every official women’s football competition in Mexico by winning the league, the Copa MX Femenil and the Campeón de Campeonas. According to IFFHS, Pachuca Femenil has been ranked 18th in the world amongst professional clubs.

Vance came to BYU after two seasons with UCLA. During her time as a Cougar, she played in 39 games and started in 37. She totaled nine goals, four assists and 65 shots in her 2,749 minutes on the pitch for BYU. She was named to the 2024 Big 12 All-Tournament Team and 2024 All-Big 12 Second Team after being BYU’s second-highest scorer her junior year. As a senior, Vance helped the Cougars earn their first-ever Big 12 Soccer Tournament Championship title.
