IRVING, Texas — Fifteen athletes from the BYU women’s soccer team were named to the 2025 Fall Academic All-Big 12 Team.

A total of 1,093 student-athletes have been named to the 2025 Fall Academic All-Big 12 First Team. The team recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at Conference institutions who participate in fall sports. The sports included for the fall season are men’s cross country, women’s cross country, football, women’s soccer and women’s volleyball.

BYU combined for 82 selections across the five sports.

To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.20 GPA or higher either cumulative or over the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20% of their team’s scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.

For the Cougars, two seniors, two juniors and eight sophomores were recognized as Academic All-Conference members. Halle Dixon, Avery Frischknecht, Emma Neff, Mika Krommenhoek, Mattyn Summers-Oviatt and Mackenzee Vance are earning their second-straight Big 12 academic team recognition.
