RIGHT WHERE HE BELONGS
Jimmer Fredette's jersey will be retired during halftime of Saturday's game, becoming the fifth player in program history with his number raised to the rafters joining Danny Ainge, Kresimir Cosic, Mel Hutchins and Roland Minson.

The native of Glen Falls, N.Y. was named the National Player of the Year by all major outlets his senior season after leading the nation in scoring with 28.9 points per game.  'Jimmermania' took the country by storm as he led the Cougars to an appearance to the Sweet 16 and they were ranked as high as No. 3 in the AP Poll.

His 1,068 points during that season are the 11th most in NCAA Division I men's basketball history. He scored a program record 52 points against New Mexico in the semifinals of the Mountain West Tournament, going 22-of-37 from the field, 7-of-14 from three and making his only free throw attempt.

TRAITOR JOE'S
