ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Paje Rasmussen set her first school record, while Marianne Barber and Kali McEuen recorded top-10 performances on day one of the Don Kirby Invitational at the Albuquerque Convention Center on Friday.
Draper, Utah product Rasmussen clocked a 23.01 in the 200-meter on Friday, earning the top spot on BYU’s all-time list. The time marked Rasmussen’s second 200m win of the season and ranks as the eighth-fastest in the NCAA this year and second-fastest in the Big 12.

Barber and McEuen also competed in the event, finishing eighth and 12th, respectively. Barber’s 23.79 moved her up to tie Cathie Guischard for No. 5 in program history, while McEuen’s 24.01 placed her at No. 7 for her first appearance on BYU’s top 10 list.
Mayci Taylor won the 600m, crossing the line in 1:28.89, while Sami Oblad added a second-place finish in the 400m invite, clocking 52.39.
Cailee Faulkner set her best pole vault mark of the season, clearing 4.20m/13-9.25 to claim the win. Abbie Scott finished third with a clearance of 4.0m/13-1.5.
Zoey Bonds set a new personal best in the high jump, clearing 1.76m/5-9.25 for fourth overall, with Mae Johnson finishing just behind her in fifth.
Sophomore Lia Pili set a personal best in the weight throw to lead the throws crew, posting a mark of 17.26m/56-7.5 to place ninth. Lia Katoa followed closely behind in 10th with a throw of 17.13m/56-2.5.
