PROVO, Utah – The women’s track & field team qualified eight entries for the 2026 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark.

Jane Hedengren is set to compete in the 3000-meter and 5000m. Hedengren owns the NCAA’s all-time fastest 5000m mark by nearly seven seconds with her 14:44.79. The true freshman also ran the second-fastest 3000m time in the NCAA this season at the 2026 Millrose Games, clocking 8:34.98. She is the reigning Big 12 champion in the 3000m, winning the event by nearly 10 seconds.

Riley Chamberlain earned two entries in the mile and 3000m. Chamberlain holds the NCAA’s top mile time this season, which she set at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 14 with her 4:20.61. Chamberlain competed alongside Hedengren at the Millrose Games, where she ran 8:43.16 in the 3000m. Her all-time indoor best in the event is 8:40.89.

Jenna Hutchins earned an entry in the 3000m with the seventh-fastest time recorded this season. She clocked 8:44.04 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

Sami Oblad qualified for the 400m after breaking her own school record at the Big 12 Championships last week, where she finished second. The senior crossed the line in 51.48.

Zoey Bonds will compete in the pentathlon after posting a career-best 4,239 points to finish second at the Big 12 Championships.

The distance medley relay team will attempt to win its third consecutive national title. The DMR squad captured the Big 12 title last weekend.
