AUSTIN, Texas – Paje Rasmussen clocked an 11.06 to set a new school record in the 100-meter at the Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium on Friday.

The mark is Rasmussen’s first outdoor school record, third overall including indoor and fourth as part of the 4x400m relay squad. The junior crossed in 11.06 in the prelims, just 0.05 seconds off first place, to qualify for Saturday’s final in fourth place after winning her heat. Additionally, 11.06 ranks as the fourth-fastest time in DI NCAA this season.
Kali McEuen finished eighth in the 400m hurdles final with her 58.58. In Thursday’s preliminary round, McEuen set the No. 8 all-time performance in the event with her 57.90. Additionally, the Gilbert, Ariz. native qualified for Saturday’s final of the 100m hurdles as she clocked a 13.27 for ninth.
Abbie Scott won the pole vault on Thursday, clearing 4.25m/13-11.25, a mark that ranks tied for fourth in program history alongside Kari Clark (2010) and Christen Botteron Guenther (2012). Cailee Faulkner took third in the event with 4.10m/13-5.25.
Bobcat Invitational
High jumper Mae Johnson took third in the event, clearing 1.71m/5-7.25. Johnson has finished in the top three at all three outdoor meets this season.
Lia Pili finished fourth in the hammer throw on Friday with her 51.63m/169-4. This marks her best finish in the event this season.
Faulkner added another third-place pole vault finish at the Bobcat Invitational, clearing 4.20m/13-9.25, just off her outdoor personal best of 4.21m/13-9.75.
At the Bobcat Invitational on Thursday, Kaiah Fisher set a new personal-best throw in the discus with her 54.60m/179-1. This kept her at No. 5 on the program’s all-time list.
Alysa Keller took fourth in Thursday’s javelin throw with her throw of 47.91m/157-2.
