LONG BEACH, Calif. Lia Pili launched a 57.72m/189-4 to set a new No. 7 program mark in the hammer throw Friday at the Beach Invitational at Jack Rose Track.

For the second straight day, Pili earned a spot on the program’s all-time list. The Las Cruces, N.M. native threw 57.72m/189-4 to place fifth in the hammer throw.

Kali McEuen clocked a 24.10 to win the 200m, with Cambria Hasler finishing second in 24.34. Mikensi Smith placed third, one-hundredth of a second behind Hasler.

Alysa Keller led the Cougars in the javelin throw, finishing fifth with her 47.08m/154-5.
