PROVO, Utah — No. 23 men’s golf will head to Prairie Dunes Golf Course in Hutchinson, Kansas to tee off the Big 12 Men’s Golf Championship presented by Allstate on April 27-29.

The Cougars wound up in ninth place at last year’s conference tournament, and will look to improve on that this time around as the fifth seed.

BYU will come to Prairie Dunes CC fresh off a third-place finish at the 79th Western Intercollegiate. Kihei Akina, No. 7 on Scoreboard player rankings, captured fifth in that event, his sixth top-5 finish this season.

All 16 Big 12 programs have made the trek to the 72-hole tournament. Colorado, Arizona State, West Virginia, Utah, Texas Tech, UCF, Cincinnati, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Arizona, Baylor, Iowa State, TCU and Kansas will participate on the 7,025-yard course alongside the Cougars.

Akina, Simon Kwon, Peter Kim, Tyson Shelley and Jackson Mauss will be slotted in the Cougar lineup, with Angus Klintworth as the sub.

BYU will tee off for a 36-hole day on Monday at 7:30 a.m. MDT. Follow live scoring on Scoreboard and Instagram and X accounts for updates. Live coverage of the final round will be broadcast on ESPN+
