HAGEN, Germany — BYU 2026 graduate Lara Rohkohl was selected to Germany's A2 women’s squad, the Deutscher Basketball Bund announced on Wednesday.

Rohkohl, who suited up for the Cougars during the 2025-26 season, will report to training camp from May 31 to June 4, 2026, at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Kienbaum, Germany. Following training camp, Rohkohl and her team will participate in a two-game series against Belgium on June 5 and 6.

The native of Hanover, Germany, is one of five NCAA women’s basketball players selected to the Kader A2-Damen team. The team is supervised by national coach Constanze Wegner, assistant coach Aleksandr Cuic, athletic trainer Julian Morche, physiotherapist Lisa Reitel and team manager Alessa Schwarting.

Rohkohl was named to the Lisa Leslie Center of the Year Top 20 Watch List ahead of the 2025-26 season and made a huge impact for BYU, helping the Cougars to the WBIT Championship game. Over the course of her senior campaign, the now-graduate grabbed the fifth-most offensive rebounds in a single season in BYU history with 106 offensive boards, tying Amberli Gustin Nelson (1990-91).

The center also recorded the sixth-highest single-season field goal percentage in Cougar history, going 122-for-195 from the floor for 62.6 percent. Rohkohl scored in double figures 15 times during her lone season in Provo, with BYU going 15-0 when the senior scored 10 or more points.

She notched three or more blocks in seven games, with the Cougars winning all seven contests, and grabbed five or more boards in 30 of the 38 games she appeared in, securing 10 or more rebounds on nine occasions. Rohkohl recorded three double-doubles in wins against Coastal Carolina (13 pts, 10 reb), at Arizona State (11 pts, 10 reb) and against Stanford (10 pts, 11 reb).

Rohkohl scored a season-high 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting, going 4-for-5 from the charity stripe with five rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block in BYU's win over Weber State.
