The Cougars have been ranked inside the top-25 seven times out of eight polls this season.

NORMAN, Okla. — BYU men’s golf came in at No. 24 in the final Bushnell/Golfweek Division I Coaches Poll of the season on Friday. 

The Cougars received 66 points, earning the 24th spot in this week's rankings. In eight total releases of the Top 25, BYU has appeared in it seven times, with the highest being No. 12 overall in the Oct. 10 poll.

The Big 12 Men’s Golf Championship was the only tournament the Cougars competed in since the previous ranking on April 17. The team finished in a tie for seventh at the Big 12 Championship, while Kihei Akina took second place, his second runner-up finish of the season.

Four other Big 12 programs were voted into the top-25, with Oklahoma State in fifth, Texas Tech in seventh, Arizona State in 12th and Arizona in 18th. Utah was on the bubble, receiving six votes.
