  • Heading into second season at BYU, coaches sprints and backstroke
  • Coached BYU swimmers to five All-Big 12 honors and three school records

Coaching Career

  • Newbury Park High School head coach (Newbury Park, California; 2020-24)
    • Guided girl's team to first county championship in school history (2024)
    • Guided boy's team to first county championship in school history (2023)
    • Led girl's team to back-to-back league championships for first time in a decade (2023, 2024)
    • Coached Newbury Park athletes to a high school All-American honor, multiple CIF section and state finalist spots and six broken school records
  • Pleasant Valley Swim Team head coach (2022-24)

Swimming Career

  • BYU swimmer (2014-18)
    • All-MPSF Second Team (200 Back, 2016 & 2017) 
    • Coached by then-BYU assistant Tamber McAllister
    • While at BYU, served as a team captain and president of the Student Athlete Advisory Council
    • Specialized in backstroke
  • Prepped at Horizon High School under coach Sam Kramer and with the Arizona Marlins (now Phoenix Swim Club) under coach Mike Maczuga (Scottsdale, Arizona)

  • B.S. in Biology (BYU, 2018)
  • Teaching certificate (California State-Northridge, 2020)

Personal

  • Married Tyler Lythgoe in 2017
  • Gave birth to daughter Lucy in 2025
