- Played for the Southern California Volleyball Club 18-Nike team under current USC head coach Mick Haley
- Two-year letterwinner at North Torrance High School under head coach Lawrence Hom
- Earned first-team all-league recognition as a senior in 2006 while totaling 246 kills, 21 assists, 56 aces, 420 digs and 31 blocks on .300 hitting
- Named team captain and all-tournament in 2006
- Team advanced to the CIF semifinals during her junior year in 2005
- Played with the junior varsity team as a freshman and sophomore, serving as team captain in 2004 and earning team MVP honors
- Earned all-tournament honors as a sophomore
- Named to the Honor Roll as a freshman, sophomore and junior
- Received NTHS's Excellent Citizenship Award all three years
- Active member of the Student Council, Polynesian Club, Letterman's Club and National Honors Society
