Responsibilities
Was hired as a Compliance Coordinator in 2008. Works with NCAA rules and regulations for all student-athletes, coaches, employees, and boosters at BYU. Sanft's main responsibilities include continuing eligibility and monitoring.
Education
Graduated with a bachelor's in political science from BYU in 2003. Sanft continued his education at BYU and graduated in 2006 with a master's in public administration.

Prior to BYU
Served as the Director of Compliance for Utah Valley State College athletics where he directed all compliance and student services affairs for student-athletes, coaches, and staff. Assisted in the NCAA certification and transition of UVSC Athletics from a junior college to full Division I status. In addition to compliance responsibilities, oversaw academic advising and the student-athlete academic center at UVSC.
