Justin Hutchins comes to BYU with 12 years of coaching experience. Hutchins coached boys and girls club and high school volleyball for 10 years, once leading a team to a fifth place finish at the Junior Olympics.
Hutchins also spent two years as an assistant coach at Utah Valley University, helping to lead the Wolverines to their first two winning seasons as an NCAA Division I team.
Prior to his coaching career, Hutchins played at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, Calif. He also lettered at Utah Valley State College, winning the National Collegiate Club Championship in 2001.
