- Named BYU women’s basketball head coach in the fall of 1994
- Compiled a 28-55 record in three years at the helm of the women’s basketball program
- Team competed in the Western Athletic Conference tallied a fifth place finish once and recorded a seventh place finish twice

- Earned a B. S. degree in Physical Education from the University of Utah in 1981 and a Master’s degree in College Instruction/Physical Education from Eastern Washington in 1990
- From Salt Lake City, Utah
- From 1990-1994 coached at Salt Lake Community College compiling a 77-37 record, guided the team to two 20-win seasons and two second place finishes in the Scenic West Conference Tournament
- Named Scenic West Conference Coach of the Year in 1992
- Spent two years as an assistant coach at the University of Utah and seven years as an assistant at Eastern Washington
- Was a four-year starter at the University of Utah, helping the Utes to three conference championships and a seventh place national finish in 1977
- Named Kodak All-District VII as a junior
- Graduated from East High School in 1973
