Cluff's Big Week Earns WCC Award

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - BYU sophomore third baseman Jackson Cluff again had a superb week, leading to his first-ever West Coast Conference Rawlings Baseball Player of the Week award.

Cluff batted .600 last week, helping BYU go 4-0. The sophomore gathered nine hits, including two doubles and two triples, and notched two hits in three of the four games and at least one run in every game. He added seven RBIs, six runs, two walks and two stolen bases as well.

Cluff is currently 34th in the nation with two triples and 57th in the country averaging 1.29 RBIs per game.

The Cougars are set to face Niagara at home on Tuesday, March 12, before beginning WCC play with a three-game series starting Thursday, March 14, against Gonzaga at Miller Field.
