Five games in the Beaver State have BYU baseball playing at the University of Portland and the University of Oregon this week.

BYU, 6-4, has a two-game series at Portland, 6-2, on Monday and Tuesday with Matthew Neil (1-0, 0.00) and Desmond Poulson (0-0, 0.00) named as the Cougars' starting pitchers, respectively.

BYU has a 7-8 record vs. Portland, with the Pilots winning 5-1 in the last meeting between the two teams in 2010. Portland is one of eight teams in the West Coast Conference which BYU will join next season.

BYU is expected to use the same rotation as last week at Washington when the three-game series starts at the University of Oregon. Those BYU pitchers are Chris Capper (0-1, 4.50) Taylor Cole (2-0, 1.47) and Mark Anderson (1-1, 3.78). Oregon, currently 5-6, plays on Tuesday at Oregon State.

Following the games in Oregon, the Cougars return to the Beehive State to open the Mountain West Conference season with a three-game series at Spring Mobile Ballpark versus Utah.
