Sophomore outfielder Kelton Caldwell of BYU was named First Team All-West Coast Conference, with a couple of his teammates also being recognized.

Cougar shortstop Tanner Chauncey and relief pitcher Mason Marshall were named to the All-WCC Freshman Team.  BYU infielder/outfielder Austin Hall and designated hitter Alex Wolfe were honorable mention All-WCC.

Hall was named earlier in the week as a Second Team All-WCC by College Sports Madness and last week was one of six Cougars honored as Academic All-WCC.

Caldwell, from Draper, led the team in slugging both in overall and league games and was BYU’s leading hitter in WCC action with a .342 average.

Chauncey, from Las Vegas, led the team with an overall .328 batting average.  Marshall, from South Jordan, ended the season with a 2-1 record, nine saves and a 2.29 earned run average.

Hall, a senior from Danville, Calif., led the team with 13 doubles and was 8 for 9 in stolen bases, playing every position except catcher in his Cougar career.  Wolfe, a senior from Orem, finished the season with a .295 batting average.
