LOS ANGELES – Former BYU forward Brandon Davies officially signed a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday.

"I'm stoked and grateful for this opportunity," Davies said. "This opens another door for me and it will motivate me to work even harder and to get even better. I have to earn everything I'm given and I like that. It keeps me hungry."

A native of Provo, Utah, Davies concluded his BYU career in the top 10 in team history in scoring (10th), rebounding (5th), blocks (5th) and steals (8th). He also left Provo having played in 107 victories, tied for third all-time in program history.

Davies received a call within 10 minutes after the 2013 NBA Draft with an offer to play with the Clippers' in the Las Vegas Summer League. He averaged 5.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.8 blocks and earned one start in Vegas.
