KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced today that BYU’s Yoeli Childs and TJ Haws have been named to the 2018-19 NABC Division I All-District 9 Team. Childs earned first-team honors while Haws was named to the second team.

The NABC All-District teams are selected and voted on by NCAA Division I member coaches. Childs is a repeat first-team honoree while this is Haws’ first all-district nod.

In addition to honors from the NABC, Childs earned a spot on the United States Basketball Writers Association All-District First Team. He was also an All-West Coast Conference First Team selection.

A junior from South Jordan, Utah, Childs has posted 17 double-doubles and 18 20-point games. He had a string of three-straight 31-point games against Weber State, Utah State and Utah, becoming the first Cougar to record such a streak since Jimmer Fredette in 2011.
