Jimmer to Play Exhibition Game at the Marriott Center
PROVO, Utah — The frenzy that surrounded Jimmer Fredette as he packed arenas and brought basketball fans to their feet with his many heroic performances is returning to Utah for a special exhibition games in September. Jimmer’s All-Stars Presented by Zions Bank will consist of an exhibition showcase on Sept. 22 at the Marriott Center in Provo. Tip-off is 7 p.m. MT and the game will be televised on BYUtv.
Headlined by Fredette, the game will feature several top NBA draftees. Fredette’s team will be coached by Dave Rose of BYU while Steve Fisher of San Diego State will lead the opposing team. The remaining participants will be officially announced in the coming weeks and the teams will be chosen in a “draft style” format the week of the event.

About Jimmer Fredette
The 10th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, Fredette finished his career at BYU as the most decorated player in school history. A native of Glen Falls, N.Y., Fredette won college basketball’s highest honors, the Naismith and John R. Wooden Player of the Year Awards during his senior season and became the first player in school history to win the AP Player of the Year Award. A first-team All-American, Fredette received nationwide acclaim last season as he led the country in scoring at 28.9 points per game and guided BYU to the NCAA Sweet 16.
